Mambukal Mountain Resort serves as the gateway to Mt. Kanlaon Natural Park. Perfect for those who loves trekking both professionals and amateurs. It’s a good place for any type of celebration or outing.
For day-trippers the transportation in the area going back to Bacolod City is only available until 5:00 PM. For those who wish to spend a night in the resort, there are villas,dorm-type rooms and standard rooms to choose from. Or if you are on a more adventurous side, you can try camping in their camp sites. You can bring your own tent or rent from the resort for a minimal fee.
How to get there:
From Bacolod-Silay Airport (Commuters)
- Hire a van or taxi going Bacolod City (The airport is located in Silay City, about 15 minutes away from Bacolod)
- Tell the taxi driver to drop you off at Libertad Market.
- Look for the bus going to Mambukal, Murcia
Transportation: Taxi, Van (going to Bacolod City)
For Van, the fare going to Bacolod is around 100 – 150 pesos.
For Taxi be sure to check if it’s metered or not. For metered taxis flagdown starts at 40. Most taxis from the airport will try to negotiate to have a fixed charge going to Bacolod. Fare for non-metered taxis ranges from 200-500 pesos.
From BREDCO Port (Commuters)
Transportation: Taxi, Jeepney: Fare is 8 pesos (route: Shopping-Libertad)
Estimated Time from Bacolod City going to Mambukal Mountain Resort
Transportation: Bus (Fare: around 30-50 pesos)
